Hi! I’m so grateful a site like yours exists! However, I think it’s important to distinguish cross-platform matchmaking games with crossplay games that also support partying up together (crossparty). Deathloop, and several other “crossplay between PS5 and PC” titles aren’t actually crossplay in any meaningful way. They’ve just been done to boost the player base, but not actually help the players play together. Elden Ring is another title that is misleading on your site. It’s only cross-platform between PC+XBox and cross-gen with PS5/4. Lots of terms getting thrown around which makes it super tough to keep track of. Again, appreciate y’all trying!
Hi Roland,
Thank you for your kind words!
Regarding Deathloop crossplay between PC and PS5, could you confirm that it’s crossplay for PVP matchmaking?
We try to include any important caveats in the “Info” section and provide a source underneath. Agreed that the various terms used can make it confusing!
