The game has quite a small dev team and with no crossplay so far, it’s probably best not to hold your breath!
Don’t buy unless both of you and your friend have the same platform. Got it on windows xbox app and my friend on steam and we can’t play together. Multiplayer lacks of server list, you just jump in random player world
